Swedish design studio White Arkitekter has teamed up with Zilenzio, a renowned brand specializing in acoustic solutions, to introduce the Hikari pendant lamp—a sophisticated fixture that seamlessly merges lighting with sound absorption.

Named after the Japanese word for “light,” the Hikari pendant lamp is designed to bring a sense of tranquility and clarity to interior spaces, particularly in open-plan offices, collaborative workspaces, and relaxation zones. By integrating high-performance sound-dampening materials with soft lighting, the Hikari lamp offers an elegant solution for modern environments seeking both aesthetics and functionality.

Zilenzio engineered the Hikari lamp using a combination of recycled PET fiber and a fabric covering, which deliver exceptional sound-absorbing properties. Designed to suit various settings, the Hikari pendant lamp is available in three sizes—600mm, 800mm, and 1100mm in diameter—with the flexibility to include or exclude an integrated light fixture at the center. Additionally, the color temperature of the lamp can be adjusted across three different settings, ensuring adaptable illumination for diverse lighting preferences and atmospheres.
