British company Karndean Designflooring has enhanced its Art Select collection by adding 39 new vinyl flooring designs inspired by sought-after wood and stone types. This collection celebrates natural landscapes and building materials, featuring new tile designs such as European oak, English ash wood, and recreations of precious stones like marble, onyx, and Ceppo di Gré, a rustic style of terrazzo.

The Art Select collection includes designs inspired by Persian onyx stone
All tiles in the Art Select collection come in a variety of colors and sizes, including the new slimlink plank, large herringbone, and basketweave. These can be combined and hand-cut to create inventive and bespoke layouts.

Among the offerings is Damask oak, a warm blond wood-look tile with an unfinished effect, and a series that mimics Persian onyx, a stone rarely used in flooring due to its fragility and porosity.

The designs can be combined to make bespoke arrangements
Karndean Designflooring’s managing director, Fleur Carson, stated that the new collection “pushes the boundaries of flooring design,” featuring precise coloration, surface embossing, and bevel detailing. “Our designers have traveled extensively to find unique samples of wood and stone that exhibit the most beautiful features of each natural material, from the interesting wood knots and grains of Spanish holm oak to the iconic veining of Italian and Greek marbles and the pearlescence of Persian onyx,” said Carson.
